54" Used Dusenbery Model QJ Duplex Center Slitter/Rewinder. SN: 57552. This machine will unwind a 36" diameter roll and rewind to 24" diameter. It is equipped with 2 3/4" rewind mandrels for use with core adaptors to wind on a three inch core with excellent tension control. We are equipping this machine with a new Eurotherm (SSD) two motor drive (5HP and 10HP). A PLC with operator interface will control shaft slowdown and taper tension. This drive package allows for higher run speeds 1000 FPM) and excellent tension control. Currently equipped with razor in air or groove slitting. Easily modified to shear. Also equipped with a new Fife P-50 edge guide. This machine is being rebuilt.
